About us

The Global Power Platform Bootcamp Northern Germany is a free, volunteer-run community event covering the Microsoft Power Platform – Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages and Copilot Studio.

Three communities, one bootcamp

For several years, the Power Platform communities from Hamburg, Bremen and Hannover have jointly organized the bootcamp. The host city rotates each year: the community of the current host city takes on the main organization on the ground, while the other two communities support with marketing, reach, Call for Speakers and delivery on the day.

This rotation keeps the bootcamp rooted across all of Northern Germany rather than tied to a single location.

Part of a worldwide movement

The Northern Germany bootcamp is one of many local chapters of the worldwide Global Power Platform Bootcamp – a community-driven initiative spanning the globe. We follow its core principles (free to attend, run by volunteers, open to all experience levels), while shaping programme, language and focus independently for the Northern Germany region.

Organized globally. Held locally.

Why we do this

We are driven by making Power Platform knowledge accessible – for IT professionals and for citizen developers building their first app or flow alike. The bootcamp runs on volunteer effort: organizers, speakers and many helpers on site contribute their free time so the event can stay free to attend.
