Code of Conduct

The Global Power Platform Bootcamp Northern Germany should be a place where every participant feels welcome and safe – regardless of experience level, background, gender, age, disability, religion or sexual orientation. This code of conduct applies to everyone on site, online, and at accompanying community activities (e.g. speaker dinner, chat channels).

Expected behaviour

  • Treat one another with respect and consideration.
  • Give feedback constructively and factually, especially during sessions and discussions.
  • Respect other people’s boundaries, including around photos and recordings.
  • If in doubt or if you witness an incident, tell the organizing team – better once too often than not at all.

Unacceptable behaviour

  • Discriminatory, demeaning or harassing comments or actions of any kind.
  • Sexualized language or imagery, or unwelcome attention or contact.
  • Disrupting talks or other programme items.
  • Advertising or sales activity without prior agreement with the organizing team.

Consequences

Violations of this code of conduct may result in removal from the event without reimbursement of any costs. The organizing team decides on appropriate measures on a case-by-case basis.

Reporting an incident

If you witness a violation or are affected yourself, please contact a member of the organizing team immediately. On site, organizers are identifiable by [PLACEHOLDER: identifying feature, e.g. lanyard colour or team shirt]. Alternatively, reach us via the contact page.

Reports are treated confidentially. Reporting in good faith will not result in any disadvantage to you.

This code of conduct is carried over unchanged for each edition of the bootcamp unless the organizing team communicates otherwise.
